Choose a studio for consistency

A studio lets us shape the light, simplify the background, and work through several looks without depending on the weather. It is especially useful for product photography and portraits that need a consistent visual style.

Choose a location for context

An office, a city street, or Central Park can tell viewers more about a person or brand. Consider travel time, privacy, permits, weather, and how busy the location will be at the proposed hour.

Think about the final images

If you need photographs for a website, consider the space available for headings and copy. Share examples of the crops and formats you need so the framing works in the finished design.
